About REGA

The company was founded in 1991, having as main activity radioelectronics, and as the name suggests: REGA - Gamma Radio Electronics.

Head office and laboratories of the company are in Magurele city, 7 Reactorului St., Ilfov county.

Due to seriousness and quality of the service, the company REGA received in 2001, 2005 and 2006 award for small and medium enterprises in Ilfov county, distinction given by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.

Starting with 2004 the REGA Company is the exclusive representative in Romania of German concern Berthold Tehnologies> - Process Control Division, a world leader in the production of radiological equipment for industrial applications.

Local Maintenance Provider

REGA ENGINEERING is the Local Maintenance Provider (LMP) for Romania for the Program Second Line of Defense (SLD) of US Department of Energy (DOE) – National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). In close cooperation with the partner states, the SLD program installs radiation detection systems at land border crossings, airports and maritime ports. Assistance service is administrated by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).

As a Local Maintenance Provider (LMP) REGA company is responsible for the preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair of the detection systems.
